Every year people travel to New Orleans from all around the world, yet the ways we travel within New Orleans beg for improvement -- for our health, our safety, economic competitiveness, and sustainability. In September Bike Easy and a broad coalition of community partners are working with the City of New Orleans to install a series of “pop-up” roadway renovations for 3 months to engage the community in a conversation around how our streets can be transformed safely, inexpensively and equitably for everyone in our city.
