SPARK: Light Up St. Claude is a co-produced community event by the Bywater Marigny Business Organization (BYMBO) and Bike Easy, advocating for safer pedestrian and cyclist infrastructure along St. Claude Avenue.

This event is part of a growing movement to turn community advocacy into real, life-saving infrastructure improvements.

Why this matters:

Over the past year, we successfully pushed City Council to pass Resolution R-25-430, calling on LaDOTD to conduct a traffic safety study of St. Claude Ave. This marked the first of many steps toward improving a dangerous state highway that has long prioritized fast-moving freight traffic over the safety of our neighbors.

🚨 Good news! LaDOTD has committed to beginning this traffic safety study in the New Year.

But the work is not done. We need your help to keep the momentum going—until meaningful improvements are made and traffic casualties on St. Claude are eliminated.
