Smart Biking with The Ministry on Bikes (MOB)-

BikeEasy is so excited to have you join our 2-DAY Smart Biking Workshop. This free course is designed for those who want to become smarter, safer and more confident bike riders. 

Session 1: Tuesday, June 3rd from 5:30 PM-8:30 PM

Getting to Know Your Bike, Your Rights and Smart Bike Handling.

Session 2: Sunday, June 8th from 10:00 AM-3:00 PM. 

Smart Road Riding.

TOPICS COVERED INCLUDE: Bike selection, bike & helmet fit, bike handling, basic mechanics, ABC Quick Check, principles of traffic law, equipment and commuting, crash prevention, fixing a flat, on-bike drills practice and a neighborhood Group Ride to Practice traffic skills and group riding.
Participants will receive a copy of the League of American Bicyclists' Guide to Smart Cycling.
The class will culminate in a Smart Cycling exam and those who pass the test and complete all sessions will be awarded a Smart Cycling certificate*.

*Completion of this course fulfills the requirement to become eligible for the League Cycling Instructor (LCI) Seminar. Please share with us if this interests you- we may be able to offer some scholarships for the course those interested in teaching with BikeEasy. 

-You will NOT need your bicycle on DAY-1 of the course. You WILL need your bicycle on Day-2, so please bring your bike, helmet, a refillable water bottle, snacks, sunblock and a hat. Please email [email protected] with your height and age if you would like to borrow a bicycle.

-A Pizza lunch will be provided on Saturday. 

-At this moment, we are unable to accommodate youth until 18 or children during the class.
