The City of New Orleans is hosting its first round of meetings to solicit public input on Moving New Orleans: Bikes, the initiative to create a citywide bikeway network. Bike Easy is encouraging everyone to come out to support a network of connected and protected bikeways! Your voice is crucial to creating a strong collective vision for increasing safe and equitable transportation options. These open house meetings are fun and interactive as you move from station to station to identify mobility challenges, desired destinations, and potential routes.

We’re asking for RSVP’s to get a sense of how many supporters to expect at each meeting, and so we can be in touch with a helpful reminder to make sure this important meeting doesn’t get lost in busy schedules.

All the meetings will cover the same ground, so you can go to any  you choose, even if it’s not in your Council district. Once you sign up, we’ll follow up with more detailed information, including what to expect at the meetings, tips to make the most of your time at meetings, and talking points you can use.
